Our History

A legacy of excellence since 1960

Abuakwa State College (ABUSCO) was established in 1960 as a premier secondary educational institution in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Founded with the vision of providing quality education to the youth of Ghana, ABUSCO has grown into one of the most respected schools in the nation.

Over the past six decades, ABUSCO has produced thousands of graduates who have gone on to become leaders in various fields including medicine, law, engineering, business, and public service. Our commitment to academic excellence and character development has remained unwavering throughout our history.
